Hello BC Interior Region Porsche Club of America Members and interested Porsche owners:
You are cordially invited to a Spring meeting to be held March 1 in Vernon, BC. Spring is almost here and it would be fantastic to meet and lay out some events that we can enjoy this year.
For various reasons, the club did not have any events last year and in discussions with the exec we all realized how much we missed the camaraderie that we share with our friends and our cars.
Shake off those winter blues and please come with some ideas, an appetite and a need for some fun.
Please RSVP to this email, yea or nay, so we can have an idea of how many reservations to make. This will be a dinner event at about 5:30 pm to allow for travel time for out of town members.

Just got this from Charlie V at the Coast, thought I'd post it up:
The 2008 CanAm Tour will be in Canada this year. Al, Hans and I have completed the initial plans for the tour. Without question - this will be a fun trip.
June 6 to 8 CanAm Tour – Rossland, BC (non PCA)
This is a Non-PCA event.
The 8th annual CanAm Tour will be held in the West Kootenays for 2008. Our American friends will be joining us north of the border headquartered in picturesque Rossland, BC.
The CanAm Tour is focused on three days of driving, socializing and having a blast together. Once bitten by the CanAm bug, you will always want to attend.
Everyone will arrive in Rossland, BC for Friday, June 6th. That night we will get together to socialize and have a great meal. Saturday will be touring some of the best roads in BC. As a special treat, we will have a casual BBQ dinner (by donation) being hosted by a great local family we met last year……details to follow. Sunday morning we will get together for breakfast, wish each other safe journey and say our goodbyes as everyone scatters back home.
Please join us on this fun and exciting tour.
More details will be posted closer to the date.
Please reply to this thread if interested. I'm trying to get a head count for hotel and restaurant details.

Its right on the main drag (Hwy 97 - also called 32nd Street) between 32nd Avenue and 34th Avenue.
Meet in the lounge at 6 PM.
Dinner will be a la carte.
