Yeah, Ian told us about it. I was just in Vancouver all last week and have to go back the 1st week in Dec...rain, rain, rain...but good sushi!
I'm surprised that I haven't run into some of you in the Maple Leaf lounges since I practically live there!

In answer to your question Iceman, they are supposed to transfer over, 3 points in total. Washington State just changed traffic laws and upped the fines. I was told tonight that the State Troopers will pull you over for going 3 MPH over the speed limit. Don't even think of talking on a cell phone and driving unless it is hands free.

I did. In 1983 I was travelling to Portland for a hockey game and got pulled over just north of Olympia by a motorcycle cop. I blamed the cruise control but still had to pay the fine and wait one year for those 3 points to disappear from my license. I believe those were my last points (knock on wood).

Oh yeah. ICBC was a product of Dave Barrets NDP in the early/mid seventies. The transfer of points was supposed to include all jurisdictions in the US but I only had the experience in Washington.

Weird. I've had friends get tickets in WA within the last few years and it never came up on their BCDL.
I've had tickets in WA but I've always disputed them - and won!
Bob, WTF are you doin' up this late? Gawking at your new 993 I bet!

I have had a couple of tickets in WA with my BC license and have not had any points at all. If he does not pay the fine in WA state they will suspend his license for driving in WA.
