Default DE 2015

Recently, while visiting Champion Motors in Florida, I noticed this lovely 'Targa' on the lot.

With all the media buzz about the GT3 RS, I decided to avoid the wait, and I got a really 'great deal'. The price was reduced, as nobody wanted the Martini model.

I hope that with new Toyo R888 tires, this will improve my driving skills in the Blue Run Group.

LOL good stuff Joe, I understand your chum Lou got a matching one as well!

And thus qualified for the group discount.

Besides there will probably be 5 or 6 of the 991 GT3 RS cars at Tremblant this year, so if you ever wish to stand out.... a Martini 918 DE car is the best way!

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I am so gratified to hear that many instructors have volunteered to help me!
The car is exquisitely executed, beautifully finished. I particularly appreciate the engine intake/exhaust valance.
I am not a fan of the lime green callipers, and might order them repainted red.
Here are a few different views.

I am so grateful to so many Rennlist readers for their kind words, and offerings.

I doubt if the Toyo tires would last the drive from Pompano to Montreal! ( As if! )

Imagine, someone even offered free instruction! (Isn't that what I already enjoy?)

Guys, I hope this goofy hoax injected some humour into the dreary days of a miserable, unending winter.

See you all at the track in May!

Joe

Avant que le 'lapin' soit sorti du sac, les photos en valaient la peine.
Bon printemps!
