I'm thinking about putting a Recaro Profi XL on my drivers side for track work but have not had chance to sit in one / get some dimensions.

Is there anyone in Ottawa with one of these seats I could look at / sit in for size ? Please ?

I am having XLs fitted in my stripper.
You are more than welcome to come try them NOW here in Montreal or mid Summer at Calabogie.

I'd like to sit in them as well Dave I.

SpeedMerchants doesn't have Recaro. Autoimport can get them but Recaro Canada doesn't keep them in stock complicating things if they don't fit right.

I sat in one at LCMT this past weekend. They fit me well in the hips and ribs. Too narrow in the shoulders (I could probably live with it) and ok re: height of the shoulder strap holes. Not bad though.

Thanks Chris- have you sat in a PolePosition as a point of reference ? (What I have now and am thinking of swapping to Profi XL). I like the PP laterally but find the shoulder holes a little low.

Pole Positions are snug.

+1 for SpeedMerchants. They had a bunch of seats on display out at Jim's dealership in Kanata. at least 3 different sizes if I recall correctly. Call first to see what is in stock.
