ultra 94 or vpower

The SuperNet 94 you get at the pump (Petro-Canada) is not the same than Ultra 94. My understanding is that SuperNet 94 doesn't contain ethanol but Ultra 94 does and it is actually a race fuel at octane 98. Ultra 94 is the IMSA mandatory race fuel for the GT3 Cup Challenge Canada this year.
Edit: after some research I am not sure anymore about that... is Ultra 94 a race fuel or not ?

This had come up a few years ago but I can't find the thread with the specifics.

So latest from track talk; source was Shellbourne fuels. Shell 91 does contain ethanol and the pumps have not been updated yet to reflect that they do. They were forced to comply with Canadian fuel rules that mandate that ethanol be used in all their gasoline. They had that commercial campaign with the F1 race car before saying it didn't contain ethanol and have been lying to us for quite some time.

They make it from 94 pump fuel with no ethanol and add a few things in to make it 98 octane and then sell it to you for 4.50-5.00$/liter. It's all made by ''Jean Pierre le gars de gaz'' in Quebec City.
BTW André, this is Marc, eng. for the #75 car in GT3 Cup !

Ultra 94 is a race fuel with 98 Octane as you said.

p.s. Comme ça ils prennent du gaz à 1,50$ le litre, et mettent pour 4 - 4,50$ de octane booster ? ;-)

Not being positioned to the 0.000001 of the population that cares, or even knows the difference.
