Porsche Price Adjustment in Canada!
Great news! My dealer called me to say that:
a) my RS has left the factory and;
b) Porsche Cars Canada has enacted a currency adjustment policy. My RS will be $6,000 less than expected!
Apparently Porsche will be making adjustments to Canadian prices every three months based on exchange rates (US or Euro, I am not sure).
The price reduction for cars on order applies only to cars purchased as opposed to those that are leased (don't ask me why).
So if you have ordered a car, you can expect a nice reduction which is proportional to the price. My RS has few options so I can imagine that a loaded Turbo or Panamera Turbo will enjoy even more money off! Nice.

That is worthy of a congratulations. I'm somewhat surprised they gave you a discount on a car you already ordered. When I saw the title, I assumed the adjustment went the other way.

Wow 6K, that's pretty cool considering the car was already ordered but also on a car in such a limited number. 6K = free 6 point belts, rollbar, FE and Pagid yellows. Did you get the GT2 seats??

Allen Porches in Canada are priced way higher than the US, as if the Canadian dollar was still worth 70 cents US. It has been close to par for some time now. As a result many Canadians were buying their cars in the USA.
Carl - the RS comes with the GT2 seats standard.

A ma connaissance, BBS ne semble pas encore avoir annoncé des roues aftermarket pour les GT3/RS 2010.
GMG a annoncé ses couleurs : http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...or-10-gt3.html, Front $1625.00 each, Rear $1725.00 each

Bob...you are well known in the Porsche community. Do you mind if I quote your name and the dealer you purchased your car from at my dealer. I am getting a VIN next week so perhaps this news will impact my TT order?

Overdraft, no problem. The dealer is Automobiles Lauzon in Laval Quebec. I was told this is a new policy by Porsche Cars Can ada so I dooubt it is a secret. not that it does not apply to leased cars - which seems rather odd to me.
