What a great thing. To have the chance to get a new cup car and then being able to share it with 4 friends. It's been a dream of mine just to own a 911, I can't imagine how cool that must feel

Good luck and have fun!

Cheers,
Geoff

Thanks Bob !

A quick question for you if I may:

Will we need to take the polycarbonate side door windows out for the RSR DEs ? We will for sure if required but it will break my heart starting to take parts away of that piece of art...

No big deal, if Mark is able to do it on his RSR, I don't see why you couldn't. What are you guys going to do about exhaust??

What about the fuel cell?? I would just stick with the stock tank.

Split decision on that... 2 will go with it and 2 others without. For safety purpose mostly.

You actually replace the gaz tank with a fuel cell for safety purpose in case of a collision. Even in Nascar:

"the gas tanks have been altered on a NASCAR race car to prevent them from erupting or exploding upon impact. These “fuel cells” are usually placed in the trunk, hold 22 gallons of fuel and are braced so they won’t fly loose under any circumstance. Also, these fuel cells are lined with foam to absorb any explosion which might occur."

Some race series require a fuel cell, others do not.
