Thumbs up LF: Daily Use Porsche (Oxymoron?)

Looking to trade in my 2002 PT* Cruiser Olympic Edition, manual, A/C with 46000 Km for a Porsche for daily commute.

Here's what we have locally in the Quebec, Canada area on Hebdo.net:

1. 1981 924 BASE 3,995.00 $ 149,000

http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...9&pgno=1&srt=1

2. http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...&pgno=10&srt=1

is a 1984 944 for $5000 with 117,000 Km

3. http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...&pgno=11&srt=1

is a 1984 944 with broken windshield and A/C, 15,000 Km and "reasonable offer"

4. http://www.hebdo.net/result/detailin...&pgno=27&srt=1

is a 1980 924S Turbo with 117,000 Km for $6K, "recent restoration" (trades?);

I'm not looking for a rich man's toy, in other words. If there's a local expert/mechanic, please PM me. (*Any advice appreciated, incl. how to paint the matte black protrusion on the front PT bumper (the back one is colour coded).)

Hi, I am new to these forums! Currently trying to do some research about buying a 996 C4S, just wondering if there is any Porsche specialists in Montreal and surrounding areas that can do some work on 911s. If you guys don't mind me asking, how much are oil changes at your specialist shops?

Thanks
Ernest

Best place in Mtl is EK Auto Performance on Jean Talon near Victoria street.
There is no one better, his garages are always full of Porsche, Ferrari and Lambo's and it's fun to look at the cars and what he is doing with them.

Default PPI in Sherbrooke, PQ area

Hi guys. Im looking for an experienced Porsche mechanic, who can do a thourough pre-purchase inspection for me on a 2001 911 Turbo. I think they may be hard to find in that area, versus in Montreal.

Need to find someone to get this done in early January.

Thanks for your referrals.
