Hi Ajit,
I drive each day up the M1 to Hemel from North London.
I am leasing a Fiesta specifically to commute.
However if you had the choice of a fiesta or a 993....
So I more often than not get up facing another day of 'work' decide to take the 993 for a spin. I have to say it still puts a huge smile on my face after 5 years and I get to work in an altogether positive frame of mind.
However, 993 + M1 with no or little traffic + perhaps a little late for work.
I am sure you can do the maths.
Increasingly I am having to be careful driving up to work. I have already gotten off with a stiff warning for husslling the old dear.
Meanwhile the fiesta is great for shopping trips to Tesco and parking at the gym.
PS if you see a midnight blue 993 LHD with a huge grin going north on the M1, for the time being its probably me. Who knows where I shall be placed next year.
Believe it or not I used to drive into London, Warren st each day for 4 years in my 993.
Best wishes
Tito.

Caveman,
to be sure.
I bet the boys in blue are laying in wait, though.
Last year I was in 'convoy' with an AC cobra that didn't hang about and must have had ***** the size of Texas.

Greg - ignore the first set of signs for parking and head towards the press car park - there's a public car park there too - park there. Its near the Finish line and isn't very dusty at all....

I'm going on Saturday.
Hi Chaps,
I am going to the FOS on Saturday as my significant other tells me she is working on Saturday - she has no interest in the FOS.
If anyone is interested in meeting up my mobile number is 07796693434.
I will at the PCGB stand at 11 am.
I will be wearing a pink carnation with an inspector Cleaseau hat and raincoat
I assume getting confirmation electronically means you are successful and have tickets?
I am not sure the new efficient and profitable Royal Mail will get the ticket to me
by Friday (this week).
Tito.

Hi Tito,
I'll look out for you.
Surj - Thanks for the tip on the car parks. I'm sure I'll get it all wrong as I usually do but fingers crossed...
Cheers,
David

If its wet - tale a spare pair of shoes to drive home in - no kidding. First year I went (1997) it chucked it down and I ended up driving home bare-footed!!
Also got home and washed the fresh mud off the car as soon as too - those fields get pretty muddy!!

Hey guys, managed to make it to GFOS on the Friday. Great weather, great cars - bumped into Maurice at the Club's battle tank (nice that). We were rather smitten by the sound of the Carrera GT....

Friend of mine just got back from Leipzig - he'd been invited ther to sample the CGT and a host of other P cars (he's due to get a CGT in Jan).
He sent me a short mpg of a CGT taking off - wow!
