Hi Helen - what does the weekend entail?

 

i think it sounds like one of them "weekends" you see on eurotrash !!

 

we wil spend the days driving through the wonderful Yorkshire countryside, stopping off at places of interest for lunch. and more driving in the afternoon. evenings spent socialising in the bar and eating the wonderful (i can highly recommend)food in the resturant,playing the odd (with me playing i do mean odd)game of billiards into the wee hours.

its a very relaxed break no fixed agenda.



prices start from about £52 per person on a bed/breakfast and evening meal rate.

sorry it's taken me a while to reply, been having trouble with my service provider.

Hotel has 15 rooms and i was hoping to fill it.. so far bookings are a bit slow. with just 6 of us bookedin so far.

There are details on the "Northern get together" thread further down in this forum about the yorkshire weekend.
We were thinking of booking but can't quite decide.
Helen said there were only around three cars booked last time I asked but if there were more going we would definatley book.
Are you thinking about going?

 

so far i have three booked in and several people hovering un decided.

Specialist cars of Malton are offering to open their door to us for saturday Morning for Coffee, Biscuits a free 74 point check on your car and a Zymol Demo using one lucky owners car.

im planing to take advantage of this kind offer then drive on from there for lunch then on for a drive on the great roads all afternoon.


any suggestions for Sunday?

i have cancelled this week-end due to lack of interest.

 

Helen, I'm sorry to see you have had to cancel, I went to the Yorkshire moors with another car club during Feb and we had a great turn out, Over 14 cars. Some Excellent roads to be driven.
Maybe you should come out with our lot.?!!

 

Sorry, been offline for a bit. My car is currently undergoing an 'enhancement' project and will only be finished towards End April. After that, any drive will be considered to shorten the drive-in period...!
