I've not ran with HOD...but interested in hearing your feedback.
For HMS, I try to run with ERME/Equipe Rapide. These guys offer a 2 for 1 program for their events - 2 cars/drivers for less than $300 ($150 each car). So, you just need to find a friend, and you pay half price. Solo gets the most for the dollar, as ERME instructors are hit or miss. You do get reasonable track time (IIRC 4x 25min sessions). They run mostly HMS... they just did one event @ Sebring in August.

Unfortunately my partner sprung on me with little lead time that I need to cover the hospital call this weekend. Medicine sucks

The afternoon was a bit of a washout as squall line after squall line rolled across Dade county, but the morning session was outstanding!
Great track conditions, great instructors. I'll do this again. The boss was there in his Corvette, he had fun and we didn't rag him too much on having a car with the engine at the wrong end.

Pics to follow, and maybe a bit of video.

More to follow, plus video

Yes, the afternoon featured Monsoon-quality rain, but we had big fun in the AM.

I got really good at "point bys" when the big dogs in their GT3s got on the track.

It's not the bow, it's the Indian. I know you could've run them down (and my money is on Sandy against any Corvette).

P.S. - It's Miami, don't they use the middle finger for point-bys?

I dunno Bill, this photo processed by local CSI guys looks pretty clear evidence to me...

There you go, I was saying "Pick up the pace, pal. Don't make me pass you again. It's bad enough with all the Corvettes out here pretending to be speed bumps"
