South Florida Caravan 2010 12 hours of Sebring - 3/20/10
South Florida Members:
There are a few of us meeting very early the day of the race for a caravan
up to Sebring.
Meeting place:
Weston:
I-595 at Indian Trace Rd. Citgo station SE corner 6am. Depart at 6:15am.
Why so early? The race starts at 10am. Takes 2 hours travel time.
Porsche corral fills up by 9am. If you paid for the corral parking and it is full
there is no recourse but to park in general parking. (no refunds)
Also, the advance ticket purchase with Porsche corral parking ends Feb. 15.
If you will be attending the race and want to park in the corral, you must
purchase these tickets online by this date.

You would have had to book a hotel in the area a year ago.
No hotel room for a 30 mile radius.
So, we normally leave at 3 to 4PM and see the finish on SpeedTV at home.

The deadline for discounted tickets is today, however you can purchase tickets at regular price
up until race day March 20. The Porsche Corral is another story. That sells out quick.

I'll already be there...will be driving up Friday and leaving Sunday. If anyone else from SoFla is driving up to Sebring on Friday, let me know, we can caravan.

NEWSFLASH....
A couple of opportunities for Sebring have come up due to the fact that a friend
of mine not on the forum here has had an emergency and can not attend
the race.
1) A hotel room at Inn on the lakes in Sebring for Saturday nite only.
2 double beds. a beautiful hotel. $160.00
2) One Day Superticket (Saturday) $80.00, now $50.00
this is a great savings. three (3) tickets are available. 2 are sold, 1 ticket left.
PM me is anyone is interested and I will give you his contact info.
