Default August meet: Porsches in Palm Beach

As an alternative to Hooter's, a place in Palm Beach has been suggested for the August gtg. Testa's is over on the island, but easy to get to via I95. A1A is a few blocks away, so it's a nice drive before or after, if we want to buzz through downtown Delray Beach.

Here's a link:

This is Danny Ocean's backyard, so there's no doubt he'll drag along a few drunk Kennedys and other friends.

How's August 16 look?

Bro, If it's not in Hialeah, I won't go. No place to burn rubber and no place to get cuban coffee.

Palm Beach Porsche Update:
The WereWife & I will be breakfasting at John G's in Lantana Beach tomorrow AM (Saturday, 8/2/08) prior to her making an effort to singlehandedly prop up the US economy by strolling along Palm Beach's Worth Avenue, credit card in hand. Obama can't do it all alone, even though he IS the Annointed One. (or was it the Annoying One?)

If anyone's in the area, stop in and I'll buy you a danish (No, Capt B, not a Danish Hooter's Girl).

That can't possibly be Hialeah bro, they don't pilfer Jeeps. They steal white Chevy or Ford vans.

I don't have a white Chevy or Ford van, so I guess that was the next best thing...they're equal-opportunity criminals down there...bro.

Forget the Hialeah thing - we aren't sufficiently armed to go there.

We ended up at Testa's this AM. Very nice, lots of parking.

Outdoor seating? Can you see the cars from the table(s)?

Not even with my Thompson and a stack of 30-round mags.

Lots of outdoor seating - the parking is in full view - right across the street. Shannon was right about this place. Good food food, tons of parking and it's Very Quiet on the Island these days. I only saw 1 Drunk Kennedy. I'm game to do this next week or the following week.
