The new mobile Rennlist looks like ****! Rather than being a nice condensed version of desktop RL like it used to be, it looks like a 10 year old iPhone-app.

Its hard to read and everything blends together.

You can no longer see which threads you've already posted on.

It's way too simple in general.

When you're scrolling through a thread its hard to see who's posting what.

The Menu/Title banner intrudes on some of your screen space, always staying at the top of your screen.


The ONLY good thing about it is the new menu system, that's pretty nice.



Anybody else disappointed in their new mobile RL? I use mobile browser as a staple for my foruming because the android app isn't very nice. Now I might have to switch to that...

I've been using the iPhone app and it doesn't look like anything like that mobile thing I would be pissed if it did

But on the bottom it should allow you to choose desktop version even tho you'll have to zoom in

 

One more thing:

There's animated advertisements on every page!

And when you go to the "search" icon at the top right, then go to type into the text field, if you click in the right-side half of the text field it opens the advertisment that's underneath the search bar! You have to click on the far left part of the search text field to get it to work.

Yeah, I'm not using that.

Just use FF on your phone with ad block, ghostery, etc.

 

The iphone app looks promising, I'll have to check out the android version.

And to the "get a life" guy, sorry, its my inner programmer/graphic/app designer coming out.

 

I hate ghostery. Themz fagz had everything I worked on all fooked up. I killed it with fire.

Been using it for a year and it's fine BM.

 

When I phone 6 gets here and IF it has a bigger screen on it then I am in line with the Apple heads to get one .

If not I will soldier on with my old old iPhone 3G . So I don't do any RL Mobile . But it looked good on Doug's phone to me .

 

This app is actually pretty nice, been using it a couple hours now

But apparently it won't let me do emoticons?

 

Emoticons are fine although I must say that I've always thought that virgin RL members can't use the F word in an OT title.

 

the problems your generation faces are simply horrible.
