I just tried it in one of my subscribed threads through the email link and it worked.

Robb if it helps here's mine, it worked for the first time (showing me that it was successfully unsubscribed ) and If you click it again it naturally gives an "invalid threadid or forumid was specified." message. :

Strange, I don't get those links in my email, I'm not entirely sure why they don't work for you. Do you know how to manually unsubscribe from a thread once you're in it? You can do so using the 'thread tools' drop down menu.

Paging John D. perhaps you can help us?

ok so the other thing I've discovered is that while I DO get this funky message...I also DO get unsubscribed from the thread.

Weird

Hi joe!

Yep..! It should work for you... OK - in that link in each email are a number of different things....

The Forum, the thread information, your ID (so you only unsubscribe yourself ) - as well as the "subscription" information for your personal "subscribed" threads... So- for example...

Even if you and are are "subscribed" to the same thread - my "unsubscription" link will only effect my settings, not yours - so each "unsubscribe" link in our e-mail notices will be different as well - That's the "funky" part in the URL you are seeing...

Make sense??

Best to you!!!

John D.
