Default Guess whats wrong now...

For some reason when I click submit, my page just times out. Even quick reply does the same thing. I have to wait, click the button again, and again, and again, and then it finally goes through..

Anyone else have this?

Thanks, it appears you are not the only one.
I will get our tech team to look into what the cause is.

It should be resolved as of now. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

This just happend to me as I was responding to a tech question/answer. As I am at work I do not have the time to repost a rather lengthy response.
I have never complained about the system or how it is run but as this has happened to me more than a few times I am not posting as much or feel the desire to.

It should not be. Sorry for not updating

Let me know if you are finding that the problem reoccurs.

It also times out after a few minutes of inactivity. This started to happen a few weeks ago...it also had occurred about two years ago and John D "sent me cookies" and that fixed it, until recently.
Please help...the time-out issue is a major annoyance!

To resolve that you should be able to do the following:
  1. Log out of the site
  2. Delete your cookies (If you go to "Tools" then "Options" in your browser there should be an option in
  3. here that deletes them)
  4. Log back into the site, selecting the "Remember Me" button

I hope that helps, but please let me know if you have any further issues!

Adrian,

I had done all that multiple times, but the issue still exists...it logs me out after a few minutes of inactivity. Really annoying

I followed those steps as well to no avail. It even times out when I try to update my signature. I still have to attempt to post my replies multiple times.

Hey guys,

Adrian's suggestions are golden. They work about 99% of the time.

Are you guys still experiencing this issue? If so, can you tell us what browser you use? Also, please check your security settings to make sure you are able to accept cookies. If that is all in order, i would run through those steps again: clear cookies, click "remember me," and then re-enter.

Let us know guys, thanks!
