Hmmm – OK – Lifers are sort of “special”. Sort of what Rennlist is about, I guess. In short – “Lifetime Members” have done something – or effected a Rennlister in a very positive way, and expect nothing in return. I’ve awarded “Lifetime” memberships to folks that have held a “Rennlist Gathering” and welcomed hundreds of folks into their homes. As well – for folks that may need something, and these folks step forward – in public or private and say “I can do that for you” – and they do. Others have built their sites “because of” Rennlist, like Matt or the Kansas City Wrenching Society – and they have the same vision of what an enthusiast site is all about.

So – for all that – I guess I have a difficult time assigning a value to a Lifetime Membership – as it’s one of the only ways Jen or myself can recognize in some way – those who are special.

However - there is a good chance that I will be offering them in the near future, as I guess folks that want to become Lifers should be able to.....

Actually, after reading your response, I think you have it right as it stands. Keep it as a reward for the guys that go beyond the ordinary or expected. Keep it exclusive.

I would like 'nominate' (for the lack of a better word) Alan aka mnmblu who hangs out mostly in the 993 forum, for lifetime membership status. Who knows how many spare hours he has put into making the special avitars for all of us (well, he hasn't done mine...yet....). I see you have one. Either way, Alan surely keeps us entertained..............

personally i think the old coote with the moonshine, and the masochistic (but lovely as ever) mother superior deserve a LT membership if anyone has . Robert and Joanne, are some of the nicest people anyone could ever meet, have more knowledge about these cars than anyone i know of and i for one am blessed for having met them on here. the trinkels, to me at least, embody the sprit and letter of what rennlist is about.
