I just tried to post a picture from the iPad. Broken. Broken. Broken.
Once you've posted the picture it is impossible edit text above the picture. As soon as you type the first character the insertion point 'scrolls' out of the view so that you can't see what you type. Then, since you cannot scroll the view, you're strecked up the streck without lube; You have to click "preview" so that you can see what you type, then you get to - once - scroll and select an insertion point. Then you get 'one character' and lather rinse repeat.

Hi Dave, have you updated your iPad to iOS 11 yet? I can scroll consistently within the text edit window, independently of the browser window. The above is not an issue in iOS 11.2b4.

Yes. It seems to work. Very strange though how the cursor is displayed outside of the edit view for two ‘blinks’ before it appears at the correct edit location inside the view or how the cursor doesn’t scroll with the view. Except sometimes it does. I have an idea why and how this manifests. Not going to satisfy my curiosity by looking at the code though. Interesting that Safari has changed sufficiently from the last 10 version to ‘fix’ the code.

No. I take it back. Sucks again. Motm only,can’t I see whatnI’mmtyping because the view is only partislly scrolled to the insertion point.

The editor now eats CRLF so that any deliberate multi-line post loks like a big run-on senstence.

Jumped on my ipad last night to post a few things as I wasn't near my desktop. No freaking way. Each time I'd try and type in to the window (that overly large and wasteful one you have at the bottom of the threads) the text would scroll up and be hidden in the window. I'd have no clue what I was typing as it was invisible unless I scroll it down, and once I'd start typing again, it would run right back up the top and be hidden.
