What about those of us unfortunate enough to be stuck with a windowsphone? 😢

I do not like to criticize when obviously a lot of work has gone into this. I have been on the receiving end and it's annoying...

That said, I was part of the beta for this app and I do not like it at all. I have reverted to viewing Rennlist forums straight from Safari on my iPhone, either in mobile view or sometimes full view.

I wish decisions like this which are made for a community of people would take into account that exact community when making those decisions.

I hope the app Garage Talk goes over well with the rest of the IB automotive forums.

I appreciate considerable effort & time may have been put into developing this app.

However, it is unusable, the mobile theme no longer works on my android phone either, if this is the finished product I will continue to use the desktop site on my phone going forward.

There's no real incentive to continue being a paying member if this what's offered, can we at least have the mobile theme back? Thanks in advance, no offence meant.

Didn't see Rennlist or Porsche as a supported brand in the Application.
Am I missing something here?

Garage talk is garbage talk. The App is horrible! We want an App for Rennlist ONLY like before, not a bunch of forums tucked in together!

Anyone else have a major battery drain on your iPhone after installing this app? I deleted and battery life is back to normal. Such a shame!!!

I can say that notification to renew membership works well. Unfortunately, I find other forum apps and interfaces easier to navigate. Plus they are free.

Too bad.. It's not the first time I am seeing a killing of a golden goose though..

I'm in the same boat - I don't know what bimmerforums uses, but it rarely has issues, and any that arise are addressed quickly. We're just another URL for these folks, it seems.

I want to just click on a single app on my phone and pull up the forum, not navigate between here and 6SP each time I want to see what's going on.

Agreed. The new app is still garbage.

Was going to move to the new app until I read these. Thanks. Guess we just deal with the "parse errors" for now?

I have installed the app on my S5.

I will say the page scrolling in forums is a little.... 2005? I dont mind a hesitation getting to the bottom while it loads more threads/posts, but the clicking next page is very old school. Or at least have a setting option for showing 10/25/50/100 threads/posts at once.

So far it seems pretty clean and usable though, I am not seeing any ad (could be my firewall at work though).

Maybe a setting to show the pictures attached to posts larger? Seems to sometimes show them large, sometimes as small thumbnail sized ones when there are multiple ones. Id rather larger.

Oh and one more thing, a setting to disable notifications/background data. Or make it so that the app can be exited completely. I personally and a no go on notifications, popups, etc on my phone except from certain things.
