What I can't understand is the number of people experiencing this - and no explainations from the owners. Does John D. still run this site? I _don't_ want to rag on him - he always does a great job keeping this place going, but if something else has happened - we should know.
Perhaps he's out of the country?

I have not had a problem here at home (yes, still on dial-up, nothing else offered by my server in my area), nor when I went to the track (high speed wireless), nor at the motel room I stayed at while at the track (high speed through that weird looking phone jack). Even on dial-up the pages load in less than five seconds -- sometimes less than only a few seconds. I wonder if it is server related? I am on Earthlink here.

it seems to slow waaaaay down in the evenings. Like tonight. Takes 15-20 seconds for each page to load. (cable broadband). Every other page I visit is fine, just Rennlist is slow......

For me, very slow at home and work, both of which are high speed connections. Something's broke.

Being a track event organizer, I frequent a lot of car forums in order to get the word out about events (and to hang out, like I often do here). The two slowest I've come across have been baybimmers.net and nsxprime.com . We have it pretty good here by comparison. I'm still wondering if it is server-side related. Those of you who have slow connections to Rennlist . . . who is your server? Like I mentioned earlier, I connect quickly and am on Earthlink.

I use different servers at home and work, and it's the same speed. It took 3 minutes to be able to reply to this....
None of the other sites that I visit have problems.
