I can't get search to work. Niether drop down, nor advanced.

Is it down?

Searching for 'Niether drop down' gets a hit on your post here:

Maybe it was only down for a short while.

 

I just used the search function for the first time since the upgrade and it does not work.
Tried the simple search - tried selecting the 928 forum - tried various combinations in advanced search.
Just get the web message that the site is not avaiable.
Help I need to search a couple of topics

Randy, I've tried both IE and Opera and both browsers give me the same error message when trying to do a search. (yes I am logged in BTW...)

Exactly the same for me.
Used to work great now does not work at all.
So SEARCH and SPELL CHECK don't work what a bummer.

Can I ask what words(s) you tried to search?

About Spellcheck - I'm using it under IE?

I used the words "engine mounts" in both the initial search and advanced.

PS: My spelling is improving!!!

Hmmm... I get the same- BUT - when I search on "motor AND mounts" or just "mounts" - I get a ton of replies??? I wonder if "engine" is so common, it's timing out the search???? And you can search like:

mounts
motor AND mounts
motor mounts
And get the same hits?

But - let me look further, OK??

Now - about the spilinng chicker... I dun't use it anysways I dun't have two... Hehe!!!

PS Spell check still the same

 

Must be the case, because anything I search with begining with "Porsche" times out. If I drop the "Porsche" the search works fine...
