Can't go back and edit a post - HELP!!!
Hi folks,
I maintain two "list-of..." posts as follows:
1) List of 997 reviews: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...l-reviews.html
2) Bay Area Driving Roads: https://rennlist.com/forums/west-us-...ing-blast.html
As new updates come in (e.g. new 997 reviews, or someone recommends a new Bay Area road to drive on), I go back and edit the top posts in the above, and add to the respective lists.
Today I wanted to add some new 997 reviews, but I can't edit the top post of either of the above anymore - the edit button isn't available on the top-post of either of those threads (it is available on other more recent threads/posts).
Admins/Moderators - Help!!!
Thanks.
Karl.

OK - I can edit this one because an edit button shows up. Not on my old posts though...

After a member defaced all of their content and after much discussion limits were added to prevent such occurrences in the future. The limit for members is 45 days. For folks who have been long-time caretakers of specific threads we will address on an individual basis. wjk I'll PM you. @jasper please send me a PM with a link to what you've been curating.

you have a full two days to make corrections. paid members can adjust thing for 45 days on account of their marketplace access.

I do find this restriction quite dubious, it would almost certainly contravene GDPR (European privacy rules), not sure whether something similar applies in the US
I would like to edit an old post to remove a photo, but I can't do so
Can I send in a request to a moderator to edit the post? If so how?

Edits are available for 45 days from the time the thread was created. You may use the triangle ‘report post’ icon to submit edit requests to the community team, or you can create a new listing. If asking the community team, please include full text replacement in your reported post body so no errors are transcribed.
