I do have the latest browser versions. It is still upon RL to make sure its advertisers do not propagate malware...

Just scrolling THIS THREAD all the way to the top got this (which is NOT an OS warning):

Rennlist has a malware problem!

Yes, this is definitely a Rennlist problem as these ads are not popping up on any other Safari windows. It's very annoying.

I’m getting it too, latest version if iPadOS using a Safari desktop client. I only get this on Rennlist.com and visit plenty of other sites using Google AdSense without issues.

It's been suggested that clearing your cookies will resolve this issue. Our team are looking and I personally haven't been able to replicate :/

I just cleared cookies and when I logged back in I got the same malware pop up. It then repopulated me with about 40 unrecognizable cookies. I'm only going to use iOS for Rennlist now. It's clear there is a major malware threat coming from the site.

I did the same. Same malware coming in- but ONLY thru Rennlist. We need solutions guys. Preferably a solution on your side - not something we have to add on to fix your issue.

I wonder if the admins have considered the possibility that the site could have been affected by one of the many vBulletin exploits that are out there. I’m not sure if applying the latest patch necessarily fixes the issue if a site has already been compromised.

The issue is not from within vBulletin's core software. In fact, even though some may not have visited the other few million websites that are also online to notice, this issue actually does occur on other websites that don't even use vBulletin, Wordpress or the other popular forum or content management software. A few years ago, Google published a blog about "bad ads" and how they've grown. As Robb mentioned, the team has been investigating and the data posted (screen captures, URLs, etc.,) helps contribute.

Has everyone checked to see if there is a safari update available? One of our moderators was experiencing this issue as well, but last week Apple released a Safari update for computers unable to run macOS Catalina that resolves the issue. If you have not yet updated to macOS Catalina, this is definitely a step that will resolve this issue as it's related to a webkit vulnerability.

cheers,
robb

There is a new Safari update released today, but... even if a Safari vulnerability, the attack seems to come from one of your ads so it would be a good thing to find out what is causing that from your side.
