Yeah. I’m going to give it a few more days. After that I’ll start looking at moving my presence to Pelican or Reutterwerk. Maybe their touch-interface support is worse. Hard to imagine that since Rennlist’s was OK until a couple of weeks ago when IB started ‘improving’ it.

<sigh> No. That is not what’s happening. I sent you a shot of the ‘advanced’ editor in its default state. All the ‘source’ button does is to a) change font and then b) delete all entered text. It has no effect on the rest of the controls.
What IS happening here is that you folks don’t test or don’t know how to test. This is very basic functionality that’s broken.
How often are you rolling a new code base into production?
What is the coverage of your automated test suite on each supported platform?
How long do your automated UI suites take to run?
What are your defect rates before, during, and after test?

It appears there is a bug, that when entering text into the quick reply on iOS and then going to the advanced editor, the advanced editor buttons are all unavailable. This has been reported to the tech team responsible for this stuff. I am remotely located and do not have all the answers, but I will work to get them for you.

It appears there is a bug, that when entering text into the quick reply on iOS and then going to the advanced editor, the advanced editor buttons are all unavailable. If I do advanced reply it looks like advanced but is missing all of the info at the top of the reply screen so I can't change font, size, color add quotes etc. The Manage attachment button under current attachments is back but when I click on it nothing happens. I have no issue with any other forum it is only rennlist.
We expressed how much we thought the new generations sucked and it has progressively gotten worse since.
Why keep making changes if nobody is happy? I along with a bunch of friends will hang out at Pelican, Will see if rennlist will ever improve and I might be back but begining to loose interest.

There’s definitely been regression on iOS in the last week. Advanced edit box is unusable again.
What’s with the mandatory <markup removed so you’ll have to guess> to avoid having LF chars stripped?

If you are going to post a picture, do so after you enter your wording. The photo attachmant will not work (is greyed out). And I still cannot see my response because it is hidden in the reply box top menu.

So, apparently, all LF characters are stripped on iOS unless the post is wrapped in [left][/left]
