Hmmm... according to Mapquest, that journey is:

Total Estimated Time: 21 hours, 50 minutes
Total Distance: 2379.25 km

EACH WAY. Maybe not...

I sent my 400€ yet! From home it's close to 1200km mostly on french highways... We'll have to pay attention to their brand new automatic radars!!

See you there Helen?

My planning is to proceed in the Pyrennee montains the week after the parade. The Spanish have what they call "Paradores". They are state hotels situated in old castle or fortresses. I'd like to see how it looks like.

When is Le Mans taking place?

Graham, Spain is definitely tempting. I can attest to that.
Helen, I might pull the ol' 951 cab out of the garage for the occasion if I'm in town. I assume you've been to Spain before? If not, I'll gladly lead you to Tarragona. About 100 km south of Barcelona.
Can you say Party Nation?

beautyful old town...in Roman times it was a more important city than Barcelona. Nice villages along the coast also with nice beaches.

Thanks Pitou,

I reserved my different nightstops via that site. Nice and easy!

Are you participating to the parade?

Toga,

I think I will not officially take part in the parade but meet the treck on the second day.
On day 2 the parade is going to the circuit de Montmelo, my house is 10 minutes from there...and if I don't work that day...

Do you know, if it is possible to join just for a day?

Hi Pitou!

I have no idea if it's possible to join for one day only. This parade is limited to 300 cars only for the whole Europe! Is it a lot or not? No clue! If the number of participants is below the limit, would they allow some "one day"" participants... Here's their site:

www.paradeeurope2004.com

Ask the question there.

Cheers

JP
