OT - Bugatti Veyron sighting in Germany
Spotted what I'm 99% sure is a Veyron on the A5 about 150kms South of Frankfurt (roughly around Karlsuhe), it was going South, I was traveling opposite direction. Is the car on sale yet, I thought it was still under development? Very impressive looking car, first pictures left me unimperssed, but it looked mean on the road.

i don't believe the first customer cars have been delivered yet but i'll double check my issue of car that has a huge wite up on the history of the brand.
it could have been a car undergoing some final testing and whatnot. or a very lucky new owner.
but more details plz was he booting it? how does the car sound?

Unfortunately I don't have much to say, it was traveling in the opposite direction and this section of Autobahn was very fast, deristricted if I remember correctly, trafik was a bit dense on the other side, it wasn't going all out, maybe around 150, I noticed the low stance of the car, I was expecting a Ferrari of some kind, it had a huge spoiler in the back, car is extremely wide which makes the somewhat heavy looking profile seen in previous pictures look much better, the car looked finished with nothing to protect it. All I can say, I couldn't hear anything, above 100 all you can hear is your own wind drag noise! I wish I had more for you, but for a second we were all pretty excited in the car!

The car had to be a test mule as they are still testing them at the Nordschleife as far as I know. I saw one on display at the Frankfurt show a couple years ago. That car is having a very long gestation period!

It's a heavy car but if the brakes are up to it I'll bet it's fast enough to be in GT3 territory...
