Platinum Cars in North York
I'm considering buying this Cayenne from Platinum Cars in North York.

I was curious if anyone in the GTA area has dealt with them before? They aren't willing to budge on the price and the manager I spoke to over the phone really wants a deposit. Even before I see or test drive the car. He was nice, but a little pushy (good was to sell cars I guess).
Any opinions? I read the google reviews and it sounds like a typical used car dealership...
Just wondering if anyone has any additional input.

BTW when I visited they were idling one of the cars in the showroom after jumping it so I suspect they are happy to sit on stock and wait for a price.
When I went there (late 2105) they also had a red 997.1 "S" model at around $45K if I remember correctly. I remember the car well as it had red silicone pipes connecting the airbox and throttle body. That got me curious so I looked closer......Engine cover had '911S' logo, airbox said 3.8 just like a 'S', but the air intakes from the throttle to the cylinder heads was black plastic - an 'S' is Aluminum.
Killer was the build sticker under the trunk lid - noted "911" not "911 S". I pointed this out to the salesman and even pulled the build sheet from PCNA for him - he had a bit of a 'oh cr$p' moment when I pointed out that it was definitely not an 'S'.
To be fair they did change their description of the car on Autotrader and pulled the 'S' moniker from the web but you never know what they told buyers in the store. I have no idea if it was a rebuild or just a 3.8 airbox - I wouldn't touch it!!
