2010 C2S AT PLATINUM CARS
Wondering if anyone knows anything about this car or the dealer? It seems to have been listed a long time - http://www.autotrader.ca/result/AdDe...frnID=25347797
Just looking for some insight before I take 1 1/2 hour trip.
Thanks! Mike

Have you asked them to send you the Carproof? If not, you might want to check that out first, before making the long drive. I dont see anywhere in the listing where it says 'accident free'

I went to look at this car a couple of months ago. I asked the sales person if there were any records for the car, He said he would get them to me - he never did. Not the most helpful guy you'll find out there. Still, it is a very nice car.

First post. I looked at that car last April (2016) and was interested in purchasing however they gave me the run around when asking for a test drive and were not interested in letting me take it to be inspected by a 3rd party (gtek /Pfaff). They claimed it was a trade in at Pfaff before purchased wholesale.
Decided to pass and grabbed a 991 from Downtown Porsche - excellent experience. Absolutely brilliant car - love it.

I almost purchased this car back in September. They were asking $72,900 back then and wouldn't drop the price even after I pointed out that the car did not have a back-up camera or upgraded stereo which they advertised back then. The cocky owner told me there were two other customers interested if I didn't want it.
The Pfaff trade-in story is a lie, the dealer told me the same thing (also that the Platinum owner is friends with Pfaff's owner), but when I spoke to another associate, he told me he was the buyer for Platinum and that he grabbed it at an auction, and that he got lucky to beat other dealers to it.
Needless to say I was not impressed with Platinum owner or the sales agent I dealt with. I did some research on this car and found where it was serviced. According to the dealership (I believe it was Downtown Porsche) all required service was done there. Carproof shows some minor vandalism claim for a broken windshield or rear glass. The car itself is in good condition and drives well. It doesn't have any rear seats missing! It has the paddle shifters PDK sport steering wheel. I was ready to buy it but was turned off by their lies and false advertising more than the price.
Honestly I think it needs a loving owner to drive it and take care of it (and a set of new tires). PM me if you want more detals.
Cheers!
