Just got the carfax and it has a $50,000 insurance claim. Doesn't matter as it's apparently sold...
Is that your red GT3?
I was going to buy your lift since I'm in Ottawa but someone beat me to it!!!

damn, I dont get it...
$70k for a car with a huge accident on its history. Even without, I wouldnt think it would be worth $70k.
You would think now that even the base 911 is a Turbo, the Turbo prices would slide and the NA versions would rise in value. I would take the 996 GT3 over that any day, which can be had for mid $70s without any accident history.
Just goes to show that I have no clue when it comes to 911 values.

Unfortunately, the 2004 911 Turbo has just been sold as of a few minutes ago. I will keep you updated and let you know if anything falls through on the deal. I apologize for any inconveniences.
The CarProof claim was the result of a t-bone collision on the side of the car. The damage was fixed at Modern Autobody, which is the only body shop certified to work on our Porsche vehicles in the city. They re-paint all adjacent panels to the damage (even if they aren’t damaged) to avoid paint flaws, therefore their claim amounts tend to be higher than most body shops, but the work is done properly.
Cheers,"

I said mid-$70s, not $70k. And here are two recent ones for $75k that I chatted with the owners when they were for sale. Both were beautiful cars, and I could have had either at the time, if I had the $75k ready to go.

That is crazy. Absolutely crazy. But if anyone thinks that's normal, I have a no collision, midnight blue, x-50, 2003 Turbo with sports seats, which I'd let go for $70k. Something tells me I won't be getting too many pm's...
