I'm looking to get into a Macan shortly since My Lesbaru Outback lease is almost up. Going to miss the Outback and if I was more practical, I'd just get a new one... In any event, has anyone here recently purchased a Macan and if so, what sort of pricing discount did you get? Thx.

I owned one since July 2014 (as MY2015, first year production). You have to shop around from all the dealers in Ontario. At best, I think they are now starting to give a bit of discount, perhaps, $500-$1000 if custom ordered. Maybe $1500-$2000 if on dealer inventory.

I think the interest rate for a Macan lease is around 5.4%.

Note: I got $0 discount as demand > supply, given it was a couple of months wait for Turbo, while the S had a wait time of 9 months when first introduced. I think if custom ordered, you may be looking at around 4-5 months now. MY2018 has started production already (meaning, the base price is higher than MY2017), therefore, if you buy one off the dealer lot now, you are looking at MY2017.

18 months ago, there were 4 used ones on autotrader. Now there are 36.
A few demo's, one or two privates sales. the rest are controlled by the cartel. DFC, Oakville, PFAFF.
I would certainly shop out of Toronto. London? Kitchener? At least have a competitive price in hand?
2018's will be landing shortly.

I just reluctantly test drove a premium plus macan s. it is outstanding. I'm blown away with how much i like it. i am 100% getting one once i find the right optioned used example.
