Default Great track day @ Mosport today

Title says it all.....cool, rain-free weather made for a very fast track, even for my Mini (missed a PB by two-tenths! ) Good, clean day with no major carnage that I saw.....lots of fast cars, mostly various 911 iterations, but a McLaren driven by a certain individual lots of us know made an appearance and just smoked all day. Great to hang out with Jason and everybody else--kudos and thanks to DriveTeq's Gerry and Rick, Ross at pitout, and everybody else who contributed.

Got any pics?

I saw a black McLaren and a white 911 turbo passing my shop yesterday around 4 pm in Port Perry, I figured they must have been coming from Mosport.

That would be Jason and his friend....I don't have any pix but someone came up to me @ pitout, said "SMILE!!" and took mine, so there's some out there somewhere ....maybe on DriveTeq's site?

So far so good Vince--thanks!

WGI Monday--you should try to get that beautiful car there at some point for a race or just some track time

PB 1:46.47
Yesterday was in high 1:46s--low 1:47s with 1:46.70 best

Stock 121hp non-S on streets (RE71Rs), all of which were replaced this morning with new (2 were corded after y-day )

Nice! I guess you don't have a problem with overheating your brakes as they don't get used much.

Thanks.....nah, I take the brake system out of the car to save weight

Seriously, yeah, the brakes last much longer than the tires
