Now I don't even know what to hope for anymore. I mean... I want one... but don't much want one in the winter. I guess I should be hoping for an allocation in September or October or something with a date in February or March?

Could I get yours if the allocation lands over winter?

Will get it delivered home and into the garage.

LOL. Thanks for the offer. It's much appreciated and I'll keep it in mind if the situation arises. It's very helpful.

I probably won't take you up on it though.

Beggars can't be choosers. Just hope you don't get stuck in the road with cup2's.

But it is a beautiful transmission I must admit....Am I nuts? Don't flame me but I think the PDK resale market will be equally strong to the stick because I think most GT3 buyers are looking for a car that does it all like me...and the hard core track guys who want to be faster might opt for a PDK? Thinking WAY too much about this...then don't get me off on colors!
Changed my mind. Ordered a stick...

When it comes to OUR business/livelihoods we are capitalist. When it comes to PAG business we are socialists.

Other than whatever the hell those last two messages were, this thread has been crickets for a month now.

Any new Canadian allocations to speak of? Anyone have any pleasant surprises this summer?

Well, the rumour was that the next round of allocations would be September, so that appears to be correct. Fingers crossed.

If we can assume RL to be a good sample of what's happening in the overall market. I'm not so sure on doing that in the Canadian market.

But I think you are right based on following similar discussions in the 991 GT3 section.

No news on my end.

I guess we now know it's officially PTS time with it being available on the US configurator. What I'm curious about is where the CAD price will land, on par, currency equivalent or something else.

I have a friend with a PTS allocation. Apparently it's around $14k (I think that includes the taxes) and he's been getting push back on the colours he's asking for to the extent that he might just give up on it and get a standard colour.

I don't actually know which dealer he deals with.

PTS is $14600 plus tax in Canada.

What seemed to be a confirmed allocation on my end seems more iffy now and looks like the car won't show up till March 2018 PTS or not.

Build has been submitted but no build or confirmation code.
