I was out on the Forks of the Credit today . Definitely not a good time for hooning of any kind.

 

Did the first run of the year today also, over 3 hours in the 944t. Beauty day.

 

Didn't think ahead to put the insurance back on for mine
Still, hibernation is over - basic maintenance completed and first wash of the year under the belt!

As for those mentioned in the OP, I think it's fair to say we've all nudged north of 150 - but my sympathy evaporated when I read about the weaving and shoulder antics.

 

Still too much crap on the roads for me.
Let the April rains wash away the salt, sand and road grime.
I waited this long, first weekend in May for me.

 

That Huracan doesn't belong in impound. It's suffered enough. The person that put a pink chrome wrap on it deserves impound.

Jeez, you go out with a group of cars like like that, drive fast, and seemingly stupid, to very stupid, like shoulder passing. WTF do you expect. They should all be charged with gross stupidity, IMO. When I go out with some of my car buddies, we have F-Cars. L-Cars, M-Cars and P-Cars etc, but in a group we do drive in a sane matter. Maybe just a wee-bit over the speed limit, and we keep up the speeds in the corners for sure,......only if traffic permits. I will push it more out on my own, however, I would never pass on the right, and if traffic dictates I do slow down. I think the Pink Lambo maybe says it all.
