What a great aircraft, single engine cost, pressurized performance. How is it for payload?

The payload of a Mirage is OK, but not great, but not many light aircraft are really great haulers. With Full Fuel (120-Gal/720-Lbs) the cabin payload is some 530-Lbs. So 3 'normal' adults and thats it. But at 120 Gals it gives you a 4-1/2 Hr flight time, with a 1+ hour reserve. At 215 Kts TAS (that is some 400 KMH) you can go a long way, so if you need to carry more, you just gotta take a bit of fuel off. Its just a numbers game to stay within the W&B evelope. Normally its the just wifey and me, and just to give her Top Billing, she is the Pilot in the family, and the one who got me to buy my new TTS Cab. Yes she is a heck of a great gal! I have a techie aircraft background, so I feel comfortable talking the numbers, and I am not a bad Co-Pilot either.

For a piston single those are some respectable numbers. At 4 1/2 hours the pilot relief tube option would be looking good. Best aircraft I've flown for W&B was the Navajo, top off fuel then load until the doors won't close.

Thanks!

I'm in talks with the owner to purchase his RS. I think the Turbo and RS combo would be awesome but looks like only one is possible at this time. The Turbo simply does everything so well that it would be hard to part with...
