Default OT: My wife's debut novel now available!

Very proud and need to do a little promotion to the rennlist community. Tonight's the night of the official Canadian book launch! If you're in town, stop by and have a glass of bubbly and get your signed copy of Barbara's debut novel. Cover art is by our daughter Stefanie Ayoub. If you can't come by, buy it online at indigo.ca or amazon.ca!
US launch date is in May with release on amazon.com and major retailers.

Awesome, well done! I'll get this for my wife for Christmas. If she asks why, I'll tell her the husband is a Porsche owner.

Awesome and good luck with sales.

Just wondering why Barbara didn't take your last name Phil.
Mrs. Pongobaz sounds mysterious...

It was great to see you, Michael (bmichael), Glenn (Bahama) and Sasha there. You guys helped make it a huge success! FYI: the owner, Ben McNally sold out of his inventory of the book! Luckily the publisher had a couple of extra boxes to sell him on the spot.
Here you are patiently waiting to get your copy signed.
Thanks guys...meant a lot to Barbara.

Default Update: The Darkhouse picked by CBC's The Next Chapter as one of its "15 Great Books"

Very exciting news!

We just found out The Darkhouse was chosen by CBC's The Next Chapter as one of their picks in the "Great Book Recommendations for Young Readers" list!! And 1 of 5 for young adults.
FYI: the book is marketed to young adults as it's the fastest growing segment, but it was written for an adult audience. The publishers felt that since the protagonist is sixteen years old, it would be appealing to that segment. It was the right call so far!
