Heads up: good deals on tires
American tire retailer offering free shipping to Canada. First time I see that!
Customs and brokerage fees still apply and are collected at time of ordering so known in advance.
Pre-paid visa cards for ordering full sets as well.

Cheers!

Do some comparison shopping before pulling the trigger on this. The free shipping is great but the duties and $US exchange will kill the deal. I just checked out some Conti DW's for my 993 and I can get them for about $150 cheaper here at my local dealer.

I was comparing Hankook Ventus V12 and it was about $200 cheaper. I guess depends on the brand and timing. I too prefer to buy locally. Discounttiredirect is another option to consider when shopping around.

I generally price off of the USA websites, and can find and price the package in CDN tax included, locally.
Toronto, Mississauga or Milton. Depends on my time vs desire to save.

Funny. I'm the go to car guy in the office.
Co worker was looking for snow tires for his subaru.
Clicked on tire rack to show him pricing.
Called National tire, near yorkdale. Four 16" stellies with Goodyear snows. $850 cdn tax in installed.
I think that is fair.
