My C4S Story

Love the updates!
I have the same car and also bought in 2016.
One update I made, which I love, is a full exterior LED kit. I was following a 993 with the kit on a cruise and loved the responsiveness of his brake lights and how they caught my eye.
I’d really like to find an HID kit for my headlights. I have halogens but with a projector in the housing.
Liam also I staled the Solution for me.
My tips are sagging but Liam says the mounts don’t feel like they need changing (from how the car shifts). Maybe I’ll look into adjusting them in the Spring.

I really wanted a car wirh HID and Bose but my car came along with low KMs and wirh the back of the seats colour matched to the exterior - which I think looks amazing.
I also added red OEM seatbelts. I think they compliment the red calipers nicely.

Some sleuthing indicates that yeah, the Bi-xenons were an option on the C4S. Who knew?
There are lots of plug and play xenon bulbs that would probably work OK. The big issue will be the retractable high beam shield that xenons have, and I would presume the halogens don't. Retrofitting that is hard, unless you are willing to open up the headlights. You would probably find Hella projectors in there (the xenons are Hella E55 projectors) so finding xenon projectors that would fit would be relatively simple. Then the leveling system...oh so many wires...leveling sensors, coffin arms with the right brackets, etc.
All for marginally better lighting. The things we will do for love.

With the 996, the issue is finding a place to fit the ballasts.

My 2021 numbers. Note that in 2019 I changed my injectors, and look how my fuel dilution has dropped. Also, the nickel has disappeared, and as a result, women are now more attracted to me.

Awesome thread as the recent owner of a 2003 C4S myself. I'm actually planning on driving mine year round unfortunately my winter wheels have been severely delayed due to the pandemic. Cheers!
