Default Delivery Times

I have a 991.2 Targa that I am (im)patiently waiting for. I followed the ship it was on (Prometheus Leader) and it arrived to Halifax port on August 2. I talked to my SA and he said the car has an eta to leave Halifax on Aug.12!

The boat has already left for New Jersey after landing in Rhode Island from Halifax.

I wonder why it is at Autoport Halifax that long. Any idea when it may reach my dealer (Pfaff) for delivery?

P.S. I took my son to Sick Kids today, and parked there underground across from me was an awesome 50th Anniversary 911 in Graphite Grey with Fusch-style black wheels. It had a 50th 911 personalized plate. Anyone on this forum? If so, beautiful car.

I don't know if it's still true (but pretty sure it is), but they often do NA DOT compliance updates right at Autoport here in Halifax. They have an extensive shop, as well as body shop (things do happen in transit).

I couldn't even spell that. I was the only one in my family too dumb to be a doctor.

You won't. No special treatment for doctors from the men in blue.

Not very reassuring that it may need to be in the shop/ bodywork

3 weeks? Can't I just fly there and drive it home myself? It would be a lot faster, I could pull that off in 3 days.

Halifax is 16 hours drive from Toronto...why would it take you 3 days?

Every manufacturer does QC at destination and yes that includes minor cosmetic repairs.
