Porsche Auto Body Shop Recommendation
#16
Just out of curiosity, what's a "reasonable" price to repaint a 911, assuming no bodywork needed and masking is done. I'm considering DIYing a paint job on the 72 (because why not) but also considering having it done by a pro. I'll do prep work myself and would prefer not to remove glass and interior.

427 has a nice shop as well and I know a few people that used them and liked their work.

I have had 2 cars repaired at LAB and Richard is outstanding. He says he gets lots of business from 427 when people decide they don't want to buy the car all over again.
His work is outstanding.
just one additional point, these cars were NOT Porsches. GF car and a friends car who went on my recommendation, both were thrilled.

Paint isn't cheap either.
If it was my car I would remove the glass. Nothing looks worse than new paint work with old rubber seals.
Your 72 has value, a good paint job will only increase the value.
I went through it with my old car.
