Coincidental timing on this thread - I just made my first order from Sunset a couple weeks ago for a new waterpump and thermostat for my 996 GT3. Amazing service, very fast, and they give you shipping options so I could pick USPS (best part)!

Getting these parts in without taking the engine out warrants an entirely different review

I ordered 6L of PTX transmission oil from Sunset after reading about them on this thread, like everyone said, great & fast service. The package arrived extremely well packed. Too bad I didn't know about the USPS option so I got ripped off by UPS brokerage fee of $60. Next time I will specifically ask to be shipped via USPS.

I have also been impressed with Sunset's pricing and service. I still find their website more difficult to navigate and browse, but if you know part numbers, you can search specifically. They have everything, and it's always OEM.

Agreed, I have been surprised recently. Don't forget to mention the PCA discount.

I find the local dealer prices absolutely horrid and almost criminal. I think the " classics" designation allows them to jack prices

I'd be curious to know who your local dealer is. I was told Oakville had great parts pricing, but when I compared a $1500 order of miscellaneous parts it was not even close to the US pricing. Gave up on local suppliers after that. Except oil and very small orders (nuts n bolts etc).
