I installed these, then unfortunately found out there was no way to hook up the seat belt, had to move my seat belt retainer from old seat to the new seat first.
Then I was good to go but because I had turned the key on the ignition during the first install with the seat belt not hooked up, the air bag light warning came on.
Thanks to Rick at Hunter motorsports, he reset the warning and it was good to go.

I am guessing about 30 lbs per seat. The GT3 seat I can lift and carry around with one hand where as the sports seats require a lot more effort and both arms.

I had sports seats before, but they where much better then my C4S which doesn't have sports seats. The Gt3 seats with alcantara inserts are just amazing fit for me and you can feel so much more through them because your held right in there and get more feed back through your hips and shoulders.

Thanks they did. Recaro with alcantara and Porsche crest in headrest, 2007's so they are in pretty good shape as well.

only downside other then the obviously loss of back seat easy access is that some peripheral vision is lost.

very true, I somewhat forget about the peripheral vision loss until I drive another 'base-seat' 911...I can still squeeze into the back seat area but definitely not easy like stock
