Multiple reports this week of cars being stopped for being too loud, tire size not OEM, etc etc. Someone got stopped coming from CTMP in a 2014 Porsche supposedly because it was a 'race car' being driven on the street. I highly doubt this - probably either bad reporting or local media being spoon fed the normal cop BS. Driver charged with being too loud under a local noise bylaw and some highly dubious 'environmental' polluting law saying he didn't have a OEM muffler. (probably 200 cell cats)

This so called cash grab - oops - 'crack down' - is happening Province wide and I believe is the PR campaign beginnings for the bullsh*t new 'safety standards' being rolled out that are designed to decimate the after market car parts industry in Ontario. Under the new law to come in to affect this summer - absolutely ANYTHING you have changed on your car that isn't OEM or OEM certified can land you a ticket as well as a non compliance under a safety inspection upon sale of the car - that by the way - shop's will now be charging $200 for as the new cost of doing a two hour inspection!!

This weeks BS is part of the PR campaign to 'sell' these new 'standards' as 'keeping our cars safe' mantra.

We have two more f**king years of her garbage - Rennlist Ontario members - please tell your friends, family and anyone you meet not to vote for this POS and her turd party in Nov 2018.

Its going to be a loooooong two years - hopefully we have a Province with some sort of decent credit rating and people with jobs when shes done.
