Looks like the BBC called off the lawyers and left ep 2 & 3 on u tube because no one was watching it on legit TV. Loved Chris Harris's TDF segment. Typically likeable but atypically informative and funny. The 2 black guys were hilarious. Unfortunately found the rest of the segments dull and uninformative while the delivery was stiff and just not funny. And who thought of putting a barely English speaking German on English TV? It's government so they'll keep pissing away the taxpayers' money just to spite the Clarkson & Co.

 

I just watched 2 episodes and enjoyed them. Not sure what people that are criticizing the show are expecting.

Top Gear: Co-Host Matt LeBlanc Says He Will Leave TV Show if Chris Evans Is Not Fired, Reports Say


The former "Friends" actor has allegedly been frustrated with Evans' attitude towards the team on the show, outlets reported. BBC has reportedly agreed to pay Le Blanc for two series.

 

Well, I have a different opinion than most. I say get rid of Joey. What the hell is he doing on TG anyway? I actually like Evans. I take the show (and Evans) for what it is, and try not to compare it to the old Top Gear, or compare Evans to Clarkson.

I respect Sabine's driving ability, but I say get rid of her as well.

 

imo. there are not enough Porsches being driven. I say scrap the whole show.

Really? See, I'm the other way. I don't mind Leblanc at all, he is a car guy and even (I understand) does some racing. Sabine is a brilliant driver and has shown promise on prior series, but seems to be trying a little hard. Eddie is actually a surprise to me as he's actually not a bad fit in an "against the grain" sort of way. I can even accept the young guy who did the Tesla and Focus RS segments, he's not bad at all. Chris Evans is ruining it for me, I just want to fast forward through anything he is in. My question is "what is he doing on TG?". Other than collecting Ferraris? I really don't know his background, but seems that getting car sick is not something you'd want in a car show host.

Chris Harris, well he is brilliant, period, and should be running the show. Just my opinion, and we all know what opinions are like

 

I would be surprised if most of us would not get car sick with Sabine at full tilt.

 

Yes, Matt is a car guy, but I don't find him particularly funny, nor does he seem all that enthusiastic on the show. Not to mention the fact that this is a British show and having a Yank on it seems so out of place. Evans might be a little loud and annoying to many, but at least he is enthusiastic. I think he has been doing a good job and can't for the life of me figure out why 99% of the comments about him are negative.

 

Chris Evans just quit....didn't like him anyways and a bit eccentric for the show...but whether he left on his own or forced out by the negative viewers reviews we'll never know.

BBC should scrap the brand altogether.
