I put on the plate "FSTRDADE" (as that's what my kids yell in the car every time) however a friend of mine pointed out its a common **** saying...

Default cars and coffee

well... one visitor from welland had a good time at P of Oakville.

good welcoming conversation among those attending and lots of eye candy,
both in the showroom and a great variety outside, including one Porsche by Singer !

weather was more than warm enough, and the sun very strong.
Refreshments were excellent ! Clothing sales seemed very tempting.

Overall.......a great time, imho.

+1. it was a great event. Great cars, great people and OPC staff are great hosts. I resisted the Selection items on sale...I already have too much auto swag.

Hi Guys, are non-porsche owners allowed at these events?

I've been a long time lurker and am planning my first 911 purchase. I'd consider myself a growing enthusiast!

Looks like an awesome event. I'd love to purchase my 911 from a fellow rennlister eventually.

It's funny that someone would feel PORSCHE people would exclude them from a social event if they weren't an owner. Probably says a lot about PORSCHE owners in general or at least how people perceive them .

True - I was chatting with a non Porsche owner for a while - nice guy, came to check out the cars and was chatting with a bunch of people.

So if you don't own you're still welcome.

After all I guess there's nothing we like talking about more than our cars :-)

I assume it was the dealership running the drone up and down videoing the cars - might be fun to watch that!
Anyone know if it's posted anywhere yet?

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Your comment makes sense. From my perspective, I've got a passion for the cars and feel it'd be an overly packed house if the population of people who want to come see the cars could attend. I guess I'm wrong, but all is good.

I'll keep my eye out for another event. I'd love to pick up some Porsche stuff at 50% off!

I'm trying to be prepared to pull the trigger on a 996 turbo when the right one turns up from a reputable owner.
