Why was Noble (1965356) Banned?
Not trying to cause a ruckus here but I'm genuinely curious why it appears this member has been banned?
From the posts that I've read, the member in question did not censor themselves; something I never felt mattered when posting on a public forum on the internet. I personally found their posts entertaining, and many offered value to the community (such as the suggestions of shops for various types of automotive work, and organization of driving events). I can understand that some posts came across as offensive to other members, but isn't that why we have the ability to "block" other members? We all have the choice of reading whatever we wish to read, and ignoring that which we don't. So why choose to permanently ruin it for those of us who enjoyed what this member contributed?
Mods, I ask: Why was he banned? What forum rule was broken to result in this action?

When forums start banning entertaining members because some of their posts are a bit edgy and some old gits on the forum are thin skinned or love reporting naughty boys to the teacher then the forum quickly declines!!!!

I could personally care less about any 'edginess' in his posts...you should hear my friends...lol
...that said, I'm surprised he wasn't banned a while ago based on what others have been banned for/against here on RL...

Are rules even available to know how one should behave around here?
Given the small Canada community here, would be great to know what caused the ban.
Maybe mods weren't into the outlaw 356?

Didn't even know there was mods on here. I've never seen any type of control on this forum or any other whats so ever. I use to pay for membership on RL, then I smartened up.

Rennlist Posting Guidelines:
Content: All material posted or linked to, must be G rated. In other words, use only language and post material suitable for the home or office. Do not post foul language, racial epithets or sexually explicit content in any form. At no time will insults or attacks on an individual be tolerated. Racial slurs, epithets or denigrating references to race, color, creed or sexual preference will not be tolerated. This general content rule applies to posts, signatures, avatars and links within posts.
The exception to this rule is in the off-topic section (only available to paying members) whereby the content may be a PG-13 rating (some colorful language may be reasonably utilized), however such content may not be used in an insulting or attacking manner.

he is banned? what b.s.
go to OT and you can call someone a "f*g" or make racist and personal attacks and that is fine. pretty lame if he got banned for being entertaining.

Yeah there's a double standard here on Rennlist when you compare the crap thrown down in the Off Topic section.
I'm a moderator on another popular car forum and I find Rennlist to be way too harsh. Even I was suspended here...LOL

Noble (1965356) was pretty entertaining and an active member, it really made the Canadian section worth visiting often. Thing is that our section is really the GTA and most people met each other, so kinda sad when you can't work things out and have to ban people behind their back.

Most abusive threads are edited or deleted before anybody gets to see them. They do seem a bit tight axxed (self edit) at times but I am sure he was warned several times before the ax fell.

Reminds me of people you work with that can't tolerate working out their differences with others and go complain to upper management because of their lack of ability to confront others. "Johnny hurt my feelings and because I'm too weak to confront him on it....boo hoo...I need you to ban him".
The Canadian Section needs an Off Topic section like Porsche needs another price increase on its 911. You know its only a matter of time.
