Just got off the phone with Jason. He has been warned one time in the past, yes. But I haven't seen him post anything really insulting in the last little while. So why the sudden ban? Take a look at what he saw when he tried to log in. "GO AWAY. THX."? That tells me that there is someone here that just does not like him and simply wanted him to "GO AWAY". This is unacceptable to say the least. If (when) I get banned, I deserve to know which post for exactly. I am getting less and less interested in this forum every day.

Looks like true professionalism from a moderator. When I'm forced to ban those on the forum I moderate I at least reference the exact post that drove us to ban and give a brief reason as to why.

Looks like even the simplest form of decency by a moderator is lacking here. Remind me about this topic when it comes to renewing membership with Internet Brands...

I agree with the majority, this ban is wrong. A forum like this serves no purpose if no one can disagree or confront an OP. I do not know Jason but most of his edgy posts were in jest and certainly do not merit banishment.

Obviously the weak kneed complainant should be the one to leave since the forum is for adults.

Ahh man!!! Did he do something through a PM that got him banned because his posts were not that bad. Seen alot worse, have actually been called out to meet at the Buffalo border for a fist fight.

So who is the mod for the cdn section? You are obviously monitoring this thread... so identify yourself and let us know why noble is banned for being funny and sometimes crude, but racists and homophobes can spew their hate elsewhere on this site? As a paying member, I have a right to know.

I have met Jason and can only say that he is a very decent guy and has actively shared with RL his many interests in life; cars, guns, dogs, horses, snowmobiles, martial arts and brings some interest, intrigue, and sometimes strong opinions to the site.

If he has crossed a line then I feel it would be best for the moderator to speak with him directly - I hope they can find a way to work this out.

I noticed that too. His posts were not even remotely bad.

But there is no standard here. And there is no free speech, either. Just remember that. This is a private forum and the owners can do just about anything they want (short of criminal activity, of course).

I think it's your fault! You and your button pushing in the outlaw thread. I was enjoying that thread as well...

Total bs. This forum is completely unmoderated otherwise. Homophobic and racist comments go unnoticed in the political threads on a weekly basis...Those people are ok around here though, right?!
