Default Audio Setup in Toronto

Hello everyone. I'm toying with the idea of upgrading the audio in my 2010 Gt3 RS. Looking for some recommendations on installers who have experience with Porsche's. Thanks

I've only bought components for my daughter's car from them, but they had an album of installs featuring Porsches. Looked like they did good work.

George and his guys at Number 1 are good but I'd highly recommend Allan at KHF Audio & Motoring in Markham.
He's a serious Porsche guy as well and is heavily involved in racing.

+1 for Allan at KHF. I had him do head units in two of my Golfs back in the day. He's a Porsche guy, and has a few good stories too.

+1 for Allan @ KHF. Awesome job on my wife's Boxster S and will be upgrading the Cayenne GTS in June.

Thanks everyone for the info. I'm looking to leave the stock nav head unit and if possible change the amp. From reading, the stock amp may have to be left for the head unit though, not exactly sure. I'm also looking to swap out all the speakers.

Simpler to upgrade if you don't have BOSE. Anytime there is a digital processor, they use fibre optics and that means you have to leave the OEM amp and tap the high level outputs. I haven't 100% confirmed Porsche works this way. I'm bringing my GT4 in for some audio upgrades new month. It doesn't have BOSE and hoping it's a simple amp swap.

I know with BMW anytime you have HK sound, it's a digital DSP. If you get their base audio, it's a simple line out from the OEM head unit and you can ditch the OEM amp. Much easier to tune the system without dealing with the OEM active EQ.
