It's OK to be "private", but I think today's gather spot was a little too much so. Part of the enjoyment should be to allow the public to appreciate our cars, which we are all proud of! My preference still remains the Chapters on Vega.

Agreed. The Vega blvd is preferred for me too. The Wild Goose is closed 1/2 the time we are there forcing guys to go on a coffee run and come back plus being a restaurant you can't get coffee to take outside. Vega Blvd has a Starbucks, plenty of parking similar to the old location and is surrounded by restaurants should guys choose to go for a bite. Also close to rural areas should guys choose to go for a drive afterwards also. Just my observation.

Drifting
Luckily, we drove 250km of thrilling twisties and ate a nice greasy spoon breakfast before arriving FIRST to the meet at 10am..lol! You guys meet way too late! You'd think an older crowd would be eating lunch at 9:30 already....LMAO
Anyway! Loved the sunshine, cars, and cigar wafts!

I'm not sure there are that many folks who venture over from Toronto or parts East - but I'l observe in advance that the Vega location is too far west to attempt for me.
While not too bad to get to in the AM - getting back across the city on a Saturday afternoon is a nightmare. Just a thought.
No matter where we end up though - thanks a ton to PB for all the scouting and organizing efforts - always hugely appreciated!

Updated the first post. We will be alternating between the 2 venues to the end of the month. Next week: The Wild Goose - remember to bring your own travel mugs if you want to get coffee from them as they don't offer take out cups. Restaurant only opens officially at 11 am...I just bring my own beverage from home.
