So the locations mentioned for the 30th and the 7th are a go ? Ill actually be home for a bit of this summer so id like to pop by some of the meets.
Cheers
To my knowledge they are a go. Normally Pongobaz will post any changes in this thread, but the idea is to check each of them out and then settle on one of them as our regular venue.
Saturday April 30, 10 am: Chapter's/Starbucks
3050 Vega Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5L 5X8
This is where Terry's SOLHA (Southern Ontario Long Hood Association) meets have been happening. 1 block east of the 403 / Dundas interchange on the North side . (West of Winston Churchill)
Nice patio area and plenty of excellent parking . This location is easily accessible from either the QEW, 403,
401, Dundas , as well as the 407. Let's check it out and see if we can reunite all the generations once again!
UPDATE: I've narrowed it down to 2 locations and completely eliminated the option of the Sherway Gardens Mall parking lot (too much construction debris in that area).
We are going to alternate between the 2 finalist venues until we can get a better idea of which one is the best. Check the first page of this thread for further info.
I'm fine with anything. Not a fan of the wild goose though. If it's a toss up it would be nice to have a Tim's or Starbucks there. If you choose the wild goose i'll just stop by Tim's before coming. Not keen on leaving a deposit to drink outside.
It was a great gathering. Being with the Long Hoods was a bonus. I very much liked the venue, but suggest we gather on the private parking area at the side of the building near Chapters next time. Lots of room to accommodate 30-40 cars and less drive through.

I agree Peter. We'll be less likely to be rundown by a caffeine-starved soccer mom.
