Been going to the Hershey Swap Meet for over 30 years, except last two. For us, it signifies the start of Porsche diving season, real Spring blossoms, great drive through the Pennsylvania mountains. We are staying in Machanicsburg (better accommodation it seems) and drive the 25 minutes over to the Carlisle Fairgrounds by 8 on Saturday morning. Lots of great people in a relaxed setting and lots of bargains.

so do we have to do any testing these days if driving over the border to the US ? or is the mandatory 24 hour testing only if you are flying ? anyone driven over recently ?

no testing but last time the US wanted vax info -and coming back had to pre-filled the ArriveCanada App . I believe there is no longer a test requirement either way.

Assume this is for a road crossing.

No testing required crossing by car
I drove to Buffalo last Monday for the day, crossing into the U.S. was easy
Coming back into Canada just filled out the Arrive Can App info before heading to the border.
Border crossing was painless, declared the tools I bought at Harbor Freight and she let me go without paying duty
You may be selected for a random home test kit, I got one in December.
